Hi, I'm Kirsten and this is my place to talk about books, writing, and other things that I love (animals, nature, exploring, coffee, TV, all things cozy). I live in Alberta, Canada with my partner and tortoiseshell cat, Ivy.

I have a master's degree in English Literature and professional experience in editing and publishing. I'm in the midst of querying agents for my young adult fantasy novel, Black Spruce, and revising my dark academia mystery.

I love speculative fiction and mystery–especially if it incorporates witches, history, academia, or soft horror elements. I also enjoy classics (particularly Jane Austen) and reading across different genres.
